New for 2024

Ride Reigate 100K Team Challenge

Round up partners, family, friends and colleagues and choose to race the Ride Reigate 100K event as a team of four or more (all male, all female or mixed teams). The fastest four times will be collated and quickest overall team will win some fantastic prizes inluding a £100 Pilgrim Brewery voucher, Energy Box from Maison du Velo and free places for the 2025 event to defend your title! 

Back for 2024

This year there's a brand new MDV King and Queen of the Mountain Challenge! The popular 100K route has been tweaked and improved to include one of the top 100 climbs in the UK – Kidds Hill (aka The Wall).

There will be a new timed road section up Kidds Hill with great prizes from event partner Maison Du Velo for the fastest king and queen to the top. Take on the challenge and test yourself against your fellow riders.

RIDE REIGATE

Cut off time

All riders in the Ride Reigate 100K and 50K Challenge have six hours to complete their ride from the departure of the last start wave. The final participants are expected to finish no later than 15:30 hours. This equates to an average speed of 10 mph for those participating in the 100k Challenge to be able to complete the ride within the cut off time. There will be a sweep minibus following the route behind the last cyclist to offer support, assistance and advice if needed.

The organisers acknowledges that mass participation events have an environmental impact and that they in turn have a tremendous responsibility to endeavour to make such events more sustainable.

They are committed to not only the best possible experience for participants but also a sustainable and responsible attitude towards the natural environment that is so critical to everyone.

Plastic water bottles have been eliminated from this event, all water comes from standpipes and is delivered to participants in biodegradable paper cups.

Licensed organisations dispose of waste. These suppliers will be required to provide an audit of how the waste from the events is disposed of.

Great event, loved the new route - the Ashdown forest was beautiful. Thank Great race on a very hot day. Well organised, rest stops were really well stocked, efficiently run and welcoming. Pilgrim beer at the end was delicious! Thoroughly recommended.
