Event overview

For 2025 Sportiva Events are adding extra buoys to make it easier for swimmers to sight. We’ve also moved the swims to Saturday afternoon. This will ensure plenty of space for parking and a large area swimmers to leave their bags. It should also ensure we can run on time as there is no chance of the triathlon swims holding up proceedings. It’s a superb lake swimming venue where you’re not normally allowed to swim! There’s also lakeside camping available if you want to make a weekend of it, booked separately via South West Lakes though the minimum stay is two nights. The shorter swims are perfect for open water first timers or younger children. We are setting a swim course with a 750m & 1250m lap. So the 1500m swim is two laps, the 2.5k is 2 laps & the 5k is 4 laps. New for the Autumn is a 500m swim.

This event is part of Roadford Lake Swim Autumn.
