The Round The Tree Race is back once again and Torrington AAC is very much looking forward to running it in conjunction with the Mayfair celebrations!

Our annual Torrington Round the Tree Race, which is part of the Torrington Mayfair Celebrations, is a challenging and scenic 2.75 mile run from Torrington Square, down through Torrington Commons and into Taddiport. Once you've reached the tree there's a relatively flat section back along the river path with a tough climb back into the town. We welcome runners of all abilities to take part in a piece of Torrington tradition, either as a runner or spectator, please join us in keeping this event as strong as ever. TAAC thanks Nigel & Diana of Oak Park Farm for their support in encouraging us to keep this traditional Torrington race alive by allowing access to the tree. Please run with care and respect at all times. Juniors (11-15) kick things off for their shorter version (1.75miles), followed by the ladies and men - for ages 16+. Fancy dress is welcome and the 'best' outfit will be rewarded.
