Event overview
Set in the picturesque Derwent Haugh Country Park, Gateshead; The 5k run is on paved footpaths and tracks in the park and is mostly flat, making it suitable for all abilities. The 5k takes in 1 loop of the park, starting and finishing near the Swalwell visitor centre with parking available. Due to UKA Rules and insurance, we cannot permit runners to wear in ear headphones, run with prams or dogs. For further information, please see our FAQ section. All runners get a delicious hot choclate provided by blaydon rugby club at the finish!
