Event overview

Run to the Castle will take runners and walkers from the coastal village of Aberdyfi along the beautiful coastal path, taking in the seafront at Tywyn, the village of Fairbourne, the famous Fairbourne bridge, Barmouth, and the castle town of Harlech, approximately 42 miles away.

Start

The start is about 200 yards from both Aberdfyi train station and the main car park in the village (LL35 0NR).

By rail

There is a connecting train station in Harlech, approximately 200 yards from the finish (so no need to change, and it takes an hour). This is a point-to-point race; entrants can get back to the start easily.
