Event overview

The Pheasant Challenge event is being held on Saturday & Sunday in 2026. We also get to celebrate Tim's birthday on the Saturday. We use a TUGG start, so Turn Up Get Going from 7:30am the finish time is 3.30pm. Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event. Please come and have a try and see how far you can go. Places are strictly limited so please do not leave it too late to enter, if and when we reach capacity anyone entering after, will get a bespoke medal of their choice of the ones that we have with us on that day. If looking for somewhere local to stay we can highly recommend the Fox & Hounds, they have rooms available as well as their bunk house and camping, the food is also highly recommended.

4 steps to wellbeing
Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
