This fun event is foremost a relay format with each team consisting of either 2 or 4 runners with the aim of completing as many laps of the 5k course through the deer enclosure of Windsor Great Park.

Event overview

With the backdrop of the famous castle itself, you have between 12:00 and 3:00pm (the last lap will be allowed to start at the latest 2:59:59 i.e. 1 second before 3 o’clock) to clock up those laps. However, this year we are also offering a SOLO OPTION if you fancy the ultimate challenge. Teams can be single sex or mixed, of any age group as long as each runner is over 18 on race day. But to include everyone, we will also hold a fun Children’s race (about 400-600m) just after 12:00pm, which is free to enter. Just register on the day, collect a race number and a medal on finishing. This really is a fun event for anyone, Club teams, a Corporate challenge, or why not just gather a group of friends? Of course there is no pressure to run multiple laps, and as in previous years each team member can run a single lap and then enjoy the rest of the afternoon (or if you are running solo you can take a break to refuel before setting off again).
