The parking charge is £3.50 and will cover parking for 2 hours from the start of the race.
Race HQ
Race HQ will be located close to the visitor's centre. There will be signs to direct you from the car park.
Start & finish
The 10K and 5K start and finish in the same location and this is close to the Race HQ.
By car
Salcey Forest is between Northampton and Milton Keynes and is accessible from the M1.
By bus
There aren't any train stations nearby, however there are bus stops in Hartwell close to the event venue.

Overview
The 5K course follows the scenic and virtually flat paths and trails within Salcey Forest. It's a stunning off-road route and there is a section where you may get muddy!
Following the popularity of the new course, there will be no U turns once again! This new race route exploring some parts of the forest never raced in before and is entirely different from the parkrun route. The race will take you through the flat, mixed-terrain trails within the forest.
Runners will race along the hard-packed trails and with the route being naturally flat with some satisfying straight sections, it is perfect for anyone trying to run a fast time or for anyone new to trail running. During winter, there is a section of course that may become particularly muddy all adding to the fun of the trail.
The course will be well marshalled and follows a 5K route entirely within Salcey Forest.

Great Xmas medal (Xmas 10k in Dec 24 was postponed to Jan 25) which was a different design from last year's. Marshals/organisation were all excellent. Course is beautiful. Some frozen mud in places which required a little care. Overall, loved it. Heather F
