Event overview
Once again The Samaritans Way Trail Run and Walk has partnered with Teesside Samaritans to support their cause and celebrate their birthday.
On April 1st 2026, Teesside Samaritans branch turns 58 years old! Join in at this amazing event to help raise funds or make a donation to support the work they do to support people of Teesside.
Take on the trails on the Official Samaritans Way created by Teesside Samaritans many years ago. Run or walk, alone or in a relay, there are different options and different distances to get your shoes muddy.
Profits from this event will be donated to the Teesside Samaritans branch directly.
It starts with you. With your support, Samaritans can answer more calls for help from people who are ready to break their silence. One donation, endless possibilities.
100 Club
The first 50 unique entries will form half of the Samaritans 100 Club and will receive a personal gift.
100 Club formed from 50 of the Sams 10K and 20K event and 50 of the Ultra event.
This event is part of Samaritans Way Trail Run & Walk.

Great event, well organised and well ran. Thank you, will be back next year! Joe M
Great run. Very enjoyable route and very well organised. More advertising next year would be good as well, but thanks to the organisers for putting on a great event! Kyle M
Wild and wonderful. Such a beautiful route and friendly support and organisation. Please do it again next year. Peppi-Marie F
Perfect. Looking forward to doing this again next year and actually run it this time. Anon
Very well organised event, great atmosphere and support throughout. Gareth K
Very organised and fun event! Loved the 20km event. Was good to have the option to walk, as it opened it up to people who didn’t fancy running! The event was extremely well organised and welcoming. Whether you were an excellent runner or average walker, you were welcomed warmly into the community of people who had entered. The water stations were well stocked, very much enjoyed the sweets - nice touch!I would definitely do this event again and use the company again in the future. Excellent from start to finish! Mark D
Well organised. It didn't seem like a first event. Phillip H
Some bite, some chew, but worth it. Hard going at points , but worth it. Challenging climbs but very enjoyable throughout. Robert K
Great first event. The event was easy to register for, well planned and delivered. A great route selected and supporting a very worthy cause - couldn’t have been better really. Stephen C
