Race HQ

The Race HQ will be situated near to the visitor centre which is signposted from the car park.

By car

Sherwood Pines is located in the Heart of Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, on the B6030 east of Kings Clipstone.  There is chargeable parking at Sherwood Pines. 

By bus

Take the number 14 or 15 to Kirton or Walesby from Mansfield bus station. Buses run every half hour Monday-Saturday and every hour on Sundays.

Introduction

This race will give aspiring junior racers a chance to take part in their very own, dedicated event.

The race will take place before the main race, on the trails and paths around Sherwood and will be fully marshalled. The race will not be chip timed but all junior finishers will receive a medal and can look forward to being cheered across the finish line. 

Parents are responsible for collecting their children at the finish line. If parents are accompanying their children on this race then no additional entry is required. However, participating parents will not receive a chip time or medal. Support young runners with uproarious cheers!

This event is doing its best to work sustainably to ensure that the carbon footprint of the race is kept as low as possible.
