This event is open to runners of all abilities, from novices to experienced athletes and is perfect for those new to running. The spring date will make this an ideal race to add to your spring marathon training schedule. If the half marathon isn't your jam then why not try the 10K option
And, for junior racers is a brand new family event in the form of a junior race offering!
The courses take runners on undulating tracks and trails around the beautiful Sherwood Pines.

By car
Sherwood Pines is located in the Heart of Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, on the B6030 east of Kings Clipstone. There is chargeable parking at Sherwood Pines.
By bus
Take the number 14 or 15 to Kirton or Walesby from Mansfield bus station. Buses run every half hour Monday-Saturday and every hour on Sundays.

Introduction
This race will give aspiring junior racers a chance to take part in their very own, dedicated event.
The race will take place before the main race, on the trails and paths around Sherwood and will be fully marshalled. The race will not be chip timed but all junior finishers will receive a medal and can look forward to being cheered across the finish line.
Parents are responsible for collecting their children at the finish line. If parents are accompanying their children on this race then no additional entry is required. However, participating parents will not receive a chip time or medal. Support young runners with uproarious cheers!
