Event overview

The route takes runners on a 5 mile journey, all on tarmac paths, running around Sinfin Moor Park and then heading up Sinfin Moor Lane, where runners are guided out on a new footpath taking them to Infinity Park Way for a short section to the point at which it meets Sinfin Moor Lane again where the runners will head back down for the return to the park. Once back in Sinfin Moor Park, runners will head in the opposite direction back to the finish area (where everyone started!). This is a fast flat mixed terrain course with a large section of fresh tarmac which should potentially be one that will be is good for a 5 mile PB! Runners will receive a fantastic T-shirt for finishing plus an absolutely stunning bespoke medal. Derby Runner Vouchers will be awarded as prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed men and ladies. The race will remains and is the first of the Run Derby Series for 2025. We will be including a fun run (1 mile / 1.6km) for those of you that have youngsters that might want to participate on the day. This will be a pay on the day option.
