Join Team Breakthrough T1D for a fully guided ascent of Snowdon via the family-friendly Llanberis Path. Push through stunning scenery, share the journey with supporters, and make each step count in the fight against type 1 diabetes.

Highlights

  • Begin in the lakeside village of Llanberis at the foot of Llyn Padarn for an atmospheric start by water and woodland
  • Follow the gentle, well-maintained Llanberis Path with its steady gradient, ideal for first-time mountaineers and families
  • Take on an 11–12 mile out-and-back challenge that’s rewarding without being overly technical
  • Climb through the heart of Snowdonia National Park with sweeping hillside views and dramatic mountainous terrain
  • Reach the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) for panoramic vistas across North Wales and the coastline
  • Enjoy an optional summit-café pit stop (weather permitting) to celebrate your achievement before the descent
