With the dramatic ridges of Eryri (Snowdonia) rising all around and the tranquil waters of Llynnau Mymbyr beneath you, this multi-lap swim offers athletes a chance to challenge themselves in a landscape shaped by nature’s raw power. Ideal for seasoned open water swimmers or triathletes in training, this is a swim that demands strength, focus, and heart. Conquer the distance, embrace the elements, and become part of the Snowman legend.

Cut off time

  • You have a total of 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete your 2.4mile swim.

In the interest of athlete safety and the safety of the volunteers on the course, there will be strict cut-off times in place. Confirmation of specific cut-off times will be detailed in your Final Instructions which will be available on the website and via email 10 days prior to your race.
