Event overview

Welcome to Solstice at the Lakes - your chance to push your limits on the longest day of the year. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Leybourne Lakes, this midsummer event invites you to race into the solstice sunset and beyond. As day turns to night (and back again), you'll find out what you're truly capable of. This is timed trail running in its purest form - no hourly cut-offs or starting on the hour every hour, no set pace and no one telling you to stop. Its your race! Choose to run 6, 12, or 24 hours as a solo entrant, or get friends together for the 24-hour Pair Relay or Team Relay. Share the distance, take turns on the loop, and see how far you can go together. Run as far as you can in your chosen time. Every lap counts.

This event is part of Solstice at the Lakes.

4 steps to wellbeing
Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
