Second time and Southend, and will be back next year. Well organised, lovely route and unique medal too. Nice and flat which is a bonus and was very warm too. | Mike

The Southend Half gets better every year with the numbers of runners growing every year. Havens Hospice do a fantastic job putting on this event and I would recommend anyone looking for a PB or just a great Half to register and come along and run this race. The registration process is easy, it's not that expensive, the organisation is great and the course is cool running along the seafront. Local support is fantastic. Overall this is one of my favourite halfs of the year! I will be back next year! | Chris

Brilliant for spectators.. saw mine 5 times on the course. The water stations are plentiful and the wet sponges are a nice touch. Just missed my PB by 8 seconds so this course has the potential to crush those times. I will be back. | Gemma
