Event overview

The St Aidan's 10K is the perfect way to start your weekend. Held on a Friday evening in 2024, this popular 10K trail race is a perfect introduction to off-road running and an ideal race to test your speed. The race is a fast and (mostly) flat trail race along public footpaths and bridleways in the idyllic setting of RSPB St Aidan's Country Park to the east of Leeds. Starting by the RSPB St Aidan's RSPB Little Owl Cafe (alongside the largest preserved walking dragline excavator in Western Europe, known as "Oddball"), the route takes in most of the Country Park before finishing back at the Visitor Centre. Stop for a drink, bring along a picnic and get the weekend started in this idyllic setting on a summer's evening!

4 steps to wellbeing
Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
