Event overview

The Standalone 10k is one of the biggest community events in the local area. It’s a great opportunity for you to not only test yourself and improve your personal best, but also to have a great morning out running with family, friends and neighbours. The Standalone 10k attracts many of the best athletes in the local area. But it is much more than that. It is a huge and iconic local community event open to runners of all abilities. So, whether you are racing to win one of the cash prizes, improve your own personal best or have a social run with your friends and family, you will have an outstanding and memorable morning with all of us at North Herts Road Runners. There will be a free children’s fun run at this year’s event. It will take place immediately after the main race starts. If you arrive late you will not be able to start as we need to ensure that all children have safely finished before the first 10k runners come back. The run is approximately 800m and will go along the Greenway, it is traffic free and will be marshalled.
