Event overview

Starting at Hospital Services Cricket Club, this out and back route follows the main trail through the forest. As this is a sunset / twilight event, head / chest torches are essential. Additional lights are encouraged; the more 'stars' the better! Trail shoes are recommended but not essential as the track is hardstanding and well maintained. 20% of entry costs will go to Forestry England to support maintenance of the nation's forests and trails. We will have an aid and drinks station at the start/finish, with a selection of savoury and sweet items. There will also be an area to leave your own items. Please note we do not provide plastic cups; bring your own. Toilets are available at the cricket club. Number pick-up is at race registration before you start the event. Registration is from 4.30. Final instructions will be sent out via email before the event with full information. Laps are a 2.5 mile, out and back, course. The 5 mile event is one lap and the 10 mile event is two laps. This event is licensed by the TRA and will be run under UKA rules.
