Stourhead Middle Distance Triathlon

Don’t be fooled by the glorious Stourhead, National Trust estate, this is a tough and challenging event that will surely test even the fittest and fastest triathletes. Immortal Sport have secured exclusive use of this iconic venue for a fifth year. This tough and challenging race will start off with a 1900m, two lap swim in the beautiful and scenic lake, followed by a 56 mile ride, which is stunning, yet fast and tough in equal measures. The route unusually visits the three counties of Wiltshire, Somerset and Dorset. The run route then follows a footpath through a meadow, before a section of tarmac to the far west end of the lap. From here the route passes through the woods to the west of Stourhead, on a lively descent. You will be again wowed by the views. Three laps take you past the stunning Estate House, where you are sure to be cheered on by friends and family. The finish line at the House at the end of lap three, will bring with it, the accolade of becoming an Immortal Triathlete. The popularity of this event has increased year on year.
