Summit 2 Sea - The Offa's Dyke Half Marathon

and follow the Offa's Dyke National Trail to the coast and finish line on the beach at Prestatyn. Though starting at over 1300ft above sea level, and finishes at sea level - do not expect an easy course! In fact - you'll get through over 2450ft of ascent. A generous cut off of 5.25hrs (2.5hrs at 11km) means that it is an event accessible to runners, but also fit walkers. There shall be 2 feed stations along the way of this hilly course and the National Trail is extremely well marked. Registration shall take place at the finish point - the Prestatyn Nova Centre, and a bus shall take all competitors to Bodfari before a 'warm up walk' of around 45 minutes takes us to the top and a quite unique start line! The event shall be electronically timed for quick results and entry includes a complimentary hot drink at the Cafe at the finish, before a presentation recongises the event prize winners!
