Race HQ
The venue is a grass area down a short distance of hard farm track way in the hamlet of Manswood Bottom, near Witchampton.
By car
The best route to the start point is from the A354 Salisbury to Blandford road. Between Tarrant Hinton and Cashmoor, take the minor road signposted to Long Crichel and continue through this village and 2 miles after the turn off the A354 bear right up a hill signposted to Witchampton. The race venue is location 1 mile after the junction at the bottom of the hill, on your right.
Runners coming from the east should use the B3078 and take the turning to Witchampton and then follow the signs to Manswood from the village centre. The venue will be highlighted using our own signs.
Please drive with consideration for other road users and for the villagers – the roads leading to the race are narrow.
Parking
There is limited parking on the grass adjacent to the registration building and start area, but due to the high number of race entrants, cars will also be parked in a grass paddock to your left, near the road. Access is fine in all weathers and for all types of vehicles. Parking here will involve a short 500m walk to the race start area. Please cooperate with and respect the volunteers who are on site to help with parking.

Very well organised event and the organisers have kept entrant numbers down which made the event feel very friendly. Beautiful, well marked course with lots of bluebells and great marshaling. Zoe R
Amazing event, my second time, less muddy than last year!! Such beautiful scenery cannot be understated JUST GLORIOUS trail running from start to finish apart from maybe 100m of road running plus a few graded farmers roads . Rebecca C
Lovely event with a friendly atmosphere and beautiful bluebells! Thanks for the great organisation and turning on the weather for us! Hannah A
Great route, well organised and lovely volunteers Laura P
Another fabulously well organised run but don't forget, the star of the show is the landscape which we run over and to access to private areas is a bonus you don't get to enjoy that often. The selection of the route generated an interesting, stimulating and nicely balanced run. Greg P
Fab, friendly run through the most gorgeous bluebell woods and cake at the end! Love that it’s cup-free. Kate A
Great race in stunning location. Nice wide tracks which were great for us canicross to pass other runners. Sharon D
