Event overview

These are multi-distance MTB/Gravel routes that have been created with the purpose of linking the many fun descents this area offers..  On the original ‘200’, there are incredibly over TWENTY FIVE significant downhill sections on this route which of course means a lot of uphill too! Starting in the city of Bath, the routes head north into the stunning Cotswolds AONB, which as many off-road bikers know, is such a great area to ride. The 200 & 300 versions cover the full length of the Cotswolds area there and back. These aren’t regular ‘there n back’ routes though – the return legs are on entirely different routes. Riding through Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and back again, the many highlights will include some of the best off-road biking trails found in England. Not only is the riding superb, the views from the Cotswolds escarpment are fantastic too – especially looking west across the Severn valley towards the Black Mountains and the Malvern Hills. NEW for 2025! Just when you thought the original ‘200’ route was tough enough, we’ve added a 300 mile version! Although the ‘200’ covers the full length of the Cotswolds AONB and includes many of the best off-road sections, there were plenty of superb trails that were left out. The ‘300’ now includes these new sections to make what we think is the ultimate in Cotswolds off-road endurance riding! What is the Cotswolds 100? This is a shorter version of our full 200 mile route and basically takes in the southern half of the original. This 100 mile MTB/Gravel route has been created to be more accessible to those with a busy lifestyle. At ‘only’ 100 miles in length, some will attempt this in one hit which means recommended kit requirements will be at a minimum. This route takes you as far north as Painswick via a very challenging link section before heading back to Bath. Just like the 200 & 300, the return leg is on an entirely different route.
