Event overview

their Prostate Cancer Screening initiative and local charity, Being Neighbourly. The race is brought to life by volunteers from East Grinstead Runners, neighbouring clubs, our partner charities, and the East Grinstead Lions — all ready to cheer you on, whatever the weather. It is dedicated to the memory of Andy Ripley OBE, former England rugby international, active East Grinstead sportsman, and member of both EGAC and EGTC, who sadly passed away from prostate cancer in 2010. Each year the event attracts 300–400 runners of all abilities — from firstโ€‘time 10K participants to seasoned club athletes. The first 7km follows wellโ€‘maintained bridleways, with the final 3km on residential roads. The course is fully marshalled and includes a water station at 5km. Multi-terrain, mainly flat course taking in scenic bridle paths. Licenced by and run under the rules of UK Athletics. Minimum age: 17 on race day. We provide: Chip timing, medical service, toilets, parking, on site motivation and finish line catering by East Grinstead Lions. Sustainably-sourced medal included in the entry price for all competitors.
