Event overview

The race format is simple - as many laps  as you can complete in 10 hours. Participants can ride solo or in pairs or teams with options for e-bikes and adaptive cycles too. We're bringing you a beautiful new loop with on route parking, braw views and pure gid gravel. There will be bonnie lochs to your left and to your right as you take in the 15km course. We know the usual Gravelfoyle event camaraderie will be there in spades - whether you are partying in the pits, smashing the solo laps or riding as a team. A strict 10 hour cut off will be in place; any participant that does not reach base before the final horn will not have that loop recorded, this only adds to the challenge to ensure you are fast enough to beat that horn! We’ll keep you safe and supported with full signage, our awesome marshals and our medics and a kids race through the day so the sprogs get to cycle too! The Children’s Wee Grav is a great chance for kids to sample gravel racing and get amongst the action! As part of The Gravelfoyle 10 - The Wee Grav is aimed at children aged 5-14 years who can ride as many loops as they can as solo, teams or pairs. The lochside loop is 2.6km with 40m elevation. More on the format - The kids will be given 90 minutes to complete as many laps as they can. If they head out before the 90 minutes are up, the final lap will still count. They can race solo or in relay pairs and age categories will be age 5-7, 8/9, 10/11 and 12-14. The course will be partially shared with the adults for extra excitement! We are so stoked to bring all the wee riders into the main fold and give them a taste of the buzz of an endurance event. All child riders must be accompanied, and signed on by a parent or guardian if they are aged 17 or under on the day of the race. We would recommend that parents and/or guardians escort the junior riders under 12 around the course in their care.
