The Hampshire Hoppit marathon, half marathon and 10K are well-respected trail races ie. predominantly off-road.
Each route will be clearly marked and marshalled and feature local sections of famous long-distance footpaths including the Wayfarers Walk and (for the marathon) the Harrow Way.
All are scenic single-lap courses that will start and end at Kingsclere on the Hampshire/Berkshire border, reaching some of the highest points in Hampshire with views across the county.
This event is part of The Hampshire Hoppit.
The Hampshire Hoppit 2024 has agreed an exciting partnership with Bridgedale. Every race entrant will receive a Buy One Get One Free offer for their fabulous trail socks, that retail at around £18 per pair, using a unique discount code that will be issued to each Hoppit race entrant.
As featured in the Aug/Sept 2022 edition of Trail Running Magazine, their trail socks have been created and developed 'by runners, for runners', a bit like this race in fact.

I had a fantastic time today, a lovely race with amazing marshals. A huge huge thanks to all involved in the organisation of this event, it was obviously planned with immense attention to detail. Alison Bonathan.
Thank you everyone for a wonderful event. The sense of community was great, the marshals did such a brilliant job, the water and food en route was so much appreciated, and I have never known a goody bag like it. Hannah Storm (Lymington Triathlon Club)
I don’t normally join these follow us groups but have asked to join so that I could tell you that after 5 years of running I have never experienced a marathon like I did today. It was top quality Marshalls/ road management/ goody bag. If you change nothing and keep everything the same it will be your greatest decision. You have found perfection, do not try to improve on it you may take a backward step leave it as is. Well done everyone involved. Mick Wraight (Sittingbourne Striders)
