Overview

The Hodge 100 is an old-school, hundred miler, reliability trial. It's just you, your bike and the road. And maybe some pals? Oh, there's a route card too. And a GPX file for your fancy bike computer - it is the 21st century after all.

The Hodge's route is as scenic as it is challenging. Setting out from Lichfield, The Hodge rolls through the Staffordshire countryside and climbs into the Peaks over the Cat & Fiddle, before finding its way back to Lichfield 100 miles later.

But this isn't any old sportive. This is an old-school reliability trial.

First, there's no entry fee. This is about the challenge, not making money. But there's not a sign-on either. Just start when you want. There aren't any feed stations. So carry what you need. And there's no mechanical support. So please make sure your bike is up to the task.

It's you, your bike and the road. Make sure you're prepared for it.
