Event overview
The Hurt is back this autumn. Get your name down and put it in your diary.
After a brief hiatus, and because of popular demand, guess what's back?! The Hurt is back! Come and join the toughest trail run in the South East, by the same team which delivers the much-loved G3 Series.
There will be joy. There will be some hurt. There will be glory.
Will it hurt? Come and find out.

Nice event this one, very undulating and some steep climbs along the way, halfway to being a βBrutalβ run (just without the water). Ben H
Very well organised in lovely surroundings and as tough as they come. I loved it! Alan D
My first time running the Hurt, and what a gorgeous course, loved it. Sharp, steep slopes are where it is at! Max K
Good hill run, and an ideal training run for a Welsh trail marathon in Snowdonia in 2 weeks. Well organised. Just got lost once going downhill. Thank you for the other runners shouting at me and a sign saying 'turn around'. Jonathan C
Amazing scenery and lives up to its name, which is exactly what you want. Tina W
This was my fifth time running The Hurt - it never gets any easier but always one of the first races on my calendar. The steep climbs are truly brutal, and the satisfaction of getting over the line means I'll be back for a sixth. Simon B
The course was incredibly challenging, however, very well marked out. The marshalls and support from spectators were greatly appreciated and kept me going throughout the course! Maddie S
Let's just get this out there first....Yes, it does live up to its name, yes it does Hurt, and yes it is in Hurtwood... Paula A
Horrendous but in a really good way. Beautiful scenery, epic views and a lot of pain! Iain C
