The Maverick ARUK Original Suffolk | Short

Going for a run and spending time outside is beneficial to both our mental and physical health, but did you know keeping active can also keep our brains in shape? That’s why we’re proud to be partnering with Alzheimer's Research UK for our Original Suffolk race, so together we can raise awareness of the things we can be doing to look after our brains and support the charity in its efforts to find a cure for dementia. Back for its forth year, the Original Suffolk takes runners through an unspoilt and largely unventured landscape. The Suffolk AONB is one of the most important wildlife areas in Britain, encompassing three National Nature Reserves and many Sites of Special Scientific Interest. Rest assured, our Suffolk routes are perfect for even the least experienced trail runner - you just need to choose how far you wish to run. There are 3 route distances to choose from, 9k, 17k or 24k, all promising to be flat and fast as you run through tranquil forest trails. Please note, there is no outpost on the Short route. Our event village and race starts is just 2 hours from the heart of London, so perfect for a short day trip for a morning of exploring new trails.
