The Northumbrian

Kielder Forest - including the largest man-made lake in Northern Europe, Kielder Water - is a vast expanse of pine forest and hard-packed trails, stretching up to the Scottish Border. This makes it the perfect staging ground for an ultra-distance triathlon: the Northumbrian.

Available as a full iron or half iron triathlon, with team options on offer, the Northumbrian made its debut in 2022 and received brilliant feedback from competitors for its testing cycle route, off-road running and, of course, the rare chance to swim in this stunning reservoir.
