Fun event with lovely atmosphere! This was such a fun event on a (very) warm day! The organisers were great at communicating the race time change due to the heat and ensured that we were all safe for the run. I roped some friends into the half marathon and we all had a lovely time. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the marshalls were so friendly, with some great snacks along the way! I would highly recommend. Jessica G

Fantastic views and people. Ben H

Brilliant! Really well marked route, friendly marshalls and beautiful scenery. I did the 10k and of all the routes they could have picked the elevation wasn’t bad at all. I’m more of a walker but I think if you’re new to trail or a road runner this course would be an excellent opportunity to get a PB. Loved the laid back and welcoming atmosphere and will definitely be back. Ginny G

Challenging and beautiful. Really only a couple of things that could improve the experience. Race numbers were rather large, given most runners wear packs. Had to fold mine to fit on my shirt as did others. A physical start/finish line would help, even something simple to signify the line. Matt G

Heaven in 26,000 steps! You may imagine that this race with some tougher trail terrain to begin with would put you off, but good things come to those who wait. Once you rise to the top you soak in the beauty of the Long Mynd, followed by the most amazing checkpoint which takes nutrition stations to another level. I did the half marathon, and I’m so glad I did because you get an extended view of the vistas and amazing scenery. Once you finish the first checkpoint you have a lovely descent into the other side of the valley followed by another great checkpoint and then return to the original checkpoint and a nice descent into Carding Mill Valley to the finish. Tough in parts, but don’t be put off, because heaven awaits. Simon G

Beautiful course. Kenny M

Route directions much improved with clearer running signs. David P

Brill scenic hilly trail run. I love the events this company offers. I have done several of them. Lee S

Fantastic event, value for money. Great course, brilliant marshalls, really can’t go wrong with this. Stacey W
