The RAT Ultra & Trail Festival | Bring Out Your Dead

The RAT incorporates four different routes, The Black Route 32 miles, The Red Route 20 miles, The White Route 11 miles and The Plague (green) 100K – 64 miles ! Oh and don't forget the Bring Out Your Dead - a 24 hour continuous challenge out and back on the toughest 5 miles of coast path in Cornwall ! The route take competitors though stunning coastal scenery, over undulating paths, through fields, villages and surrounding countryside – it is not for the faint hearted! Whilst we’d love you to take on the 100k Plague or the mind challenging BOYD – we hope that even runners new to ultra and coastal running, with the 11mile White or the 20mile Red, will find something here to suit their level. Mudcrew like to get the best out of life, that’s why The RAT is much more than just a race. We are all passionate about running but amongst the mud, sweat and tears of the race we feel there needs to be some room for having a good time, meeting fellow running enthusiasts and talking about what adventures we’ve all had. At The RAT festival village, there will be plenty going on on Friday and Saturday evening with entertainment, a fully licensed bar, trade stands and plenty of food and drink outlets. Camping is, is also available and all in all we think a lovely, family friendly, weekend is very likely. All you need to do now is decide how far you want to go.
