Wow are you in for a treat with this one! This breathtaking 5k trail takes you to the delightful coastal town Saltburn-by-the-sea which bestows plenty of Victorian charm and thrills. From the water balanced cliff lifts to the last remaining pier in Yorkshire, Saltburn promises you runners an authentic seaside experience! This picturesque promenade is perfect for a leisurely 5km run. You’ll be surrounded by stunning scenery the whole way, making it impossible to get bored. And if you need a break, there are plenty of benches along the route where you can take in the view.  Plus you will soon be back to treat yourself to some real tasty food and drink at the Alexandra Vaults! *Prizes are given to the 1st (£20) 2nd (£15) & 3rd (£10) male and female on every race. *Series prizes include £100 vouchers for Up & Running (Darlington) Great sponsor of Muddy Roads. *Over £1000 given in prizes. Cash prizes will also be given for the junior races courtesy of Philip Teece Billingham Running club. *To be eligible for ‘series’ prizes you must run 4 from the first 5 races. Free parking and toilet facilities available. Minimum age strictly: 12 years +. Not suitable for wheelchairs/pushchairs and no dogs allowed.
