The South Hams Ultra is a spectacular off-road adventure through one of Devon’s most beautiful landscapes.

Runners can take on the full 100-mile circumnavigation of South Hams, or opt for the 44-mile or marathon-distance alternatives. Following the newly established South Hams Way, this challenging route combines rugged moorland, sweeping coastline, and tranquil estuaries for a truly unforgettable experience.

A spectacular 100-mile adventure linking moor, coast and countryside in one unforgettable loop.

The full South Hams Ultra takes you on an extraordinary 100-mile journey around Devon’s South Hams, following the newly established South Hams Way almost entirely. Starting and finishing at the Flete Estate, the route explores an incredible mix of moorland, coastline, countryside and estuaries, linking Dartmoor National Park with the South West Coast Path and historic towns and villages. It’s a true showcase of the region’s wild beauty — a tough but rewarding challenge with 4,890m of ascent and a 35-hour cut-off time.
