The Plough and Harrow Longman 10K Trail Run

This is a self navigated event following Strava, GPX on your phone or watch. There will be a written narrative to assist you to download from our website should you need it and a tail runner sweeping the course. Vast majority of the course is on public footpaths and bridleways, with just a couple of road crossings. What you get: Race number, a limited edition 20th anniversary running vest (or maybe a T-shirt...tbc) designed to mark the occassion by local artist carla_anna-art! a finisher's medals and when you hand your race number in behind the bar you get a pint/wine/hot drink or soft drink in return to celebrate the milestone. If you would like to eat at this fantatic place, please order before the race with an estimated run time so the kitchen staff can have it ready for your return. The route is predominately clockwise, being flat -hilly - flat to warm you up, test your legs and cool you down again. As this is a self sufficent event, please take any other provisions with you, such as gels and water.  Consider layers as the conditions can vary from the valley bottom to the top of the hill! 18 years and older only can take part. Families are welcome in the gardens to cheer you out at the start and welcome you back at the finish (dogs and children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.) Please note that parking spaces are limited so please car share as much as you can, or ideally cycle!
