Event overview

The park has been in the Pierrepont Family for over 400 years and is home to a stunning 17th-century mansion, a world-renowned art collection, and over 1,000 acres of fabulous parkland. Theres also some Wild Deer as well as the famous long-horned cattle. Ideal for runners of all fitness levels the Estate is fairly flat so the 5k & 10k will suit first timers to trail running or those wanting a step up from Parkrun. This event is Canicross friendly and runners can run with up to 2 dogs as long as they are controlled. There will also be a separate start time for Canicross. Nordic Walkers are more than welcome at our event. There will be a separate start time for Canicross runners which will be confirmed in the Event Information Email. There will be Live Chip-Timing through Timing Up North. All Finishers will be rewarded with Wild Deer Merchandise (socks, buff or coffee tumbler), a Medal, snack and a soft drink. There is the option to purchase an Event T-Shirt for £12 when you sign up. Parking is available on site and is just £3.00 per vehicle. We recommend car sharing where possible.

This event is part of Thoresby Park - The Longhorn Trail Event.
