Event overview
Although relatively short, the main ascent and descent to/from the summit are steep so hill shoes are advised. The route is mostly tracked although the steep climb up to the summit is through heather. The junior race was extended a little in 2023. It is a short out and back route but it now goes slightly higher up Turnhouse – ca. 2.2kms, 160 metres.
