Fundraising guide, ideas and tips
Expert help all the way from the WaterAid Fundraising Team.

I participated in the Munro Challenge in 2024, to support WaterAid's vital work, spend time with friends and to bag another Munro! It was great speaking to people along the way to raise awareness of WaterAid's mission and being rewarded with breathtaking views at the top after a tough climb. Looking forward to this year’s challenge!

WaterAid
WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water.
We all need clean water. Along with decent toilets, and good hygiene, it's the foundation for good health, dignity and a life full of opportunity. But millions of people are still living without it.
Clean water means safer births and healthier families. It keeps children in school and adults in work. It means thriving communities and stronger economies – now, and for generations to come.
Water. Health. Opportunity. Progress. It all starts with clean water.

Key stats
- Worldwide, 696 million people, almost 1 in 10, don’t have clean water close to home
- 1.5 billion don’t have a decent toilet of their own
- 1.7 billion people don’t have soap and water to wash their hands at home
By taking part, you’re supporting WaterAid’s work alongside communities bringing clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to everyone who needs it.
