Worcester Lakeside Triathlon | Double Distance

We will be running two events, a sprint and a double. The sprint consists of a 750m open water swim, 30km bike and a 5km run. The double consists of a 1500m Open Water Swim, 60km Bike and 10km Run. The swim is within the freshwater lake. One lap for the sprint, two for the double. Next a very short run to the secure racked transition area (grassed) for T1 to pick up Bikes etc. The Bike route is made up of a mixture of undulating and twisting roads round the Worcestershire lanes with some flat areas, fast descents and some tougher rolling roads especially the climb out of Great Witley. One lap for the sprint, two for the double. The Run is held on farm tracks, paths and fields round the campus, with two laps for the sprint, four laps of the course for the double.
