Event overview
Run through the heart of one of England's most beautiful and historic cities in summer. The Arla Protein York 10K and York Mini and Junior Run offer something genuinely special for runners and families alike.
Whether you are chasing a personal best on a flat, fast 10K course or cheering on young runners taking their first strides, this is a day that brings the whole family together in one of Yorkshire's most spectacular settings.
Highlights
An iconic and historic route
Pass York's ancient city walls, the magnificent Minster and historic Clifford's Tower, running through landmarks that few race courses anywhere in the country can match.
Perfect for PB hunters
The flat, fast 10K course starting and finishing on Knavesmire Road is designed with speed in mind, and friendly pacers are on hand to help you hit your target time.
A day for the whole family
The Mini Run (1.5km, ages 3-8) and Junior Run (2.5km, ages 9-14) mean younger runners get their own moment in the spotlight on the same day and in the same incredible setting.
Official timing for juniors
Chip timing is now included in all junior races, adding an exciting competitive edge while keeping the event fun and inclusive for all.
Rewards worth running for
Every finisher receives an exclusive medal and goody bag, with the option to personalise your medal with an iTAB engraving as a lasting memento.

Brilliant organisation as usual - so many volunteers, all of whom provided lots of encouragement. The course is superb and even though I've done it three times, I still get a thrill from running through the centre of York and past the Minster. My favourite 10K. David W
This is our second York 10K, everything about the event was organised and executed very well, we have already signed up for next year’s event. Huw F
Excellent Race today for the York 10K from the Parking at the race course to leaving. Brilliant organisation, the start is good and well informed, including warm up. One of the best routes in the running calender, running through the city is such a unique experience. Mike C
As with all the Run for All events, the organisation is superb. The nice thing about this race is that you can park at the racecourse so that part is stress free and super easy. The course is flat and very pretty going through York city centre and by the river Ouse. There is really friendly support right round the entire course and water stations which were very welcome on a red hot day. Jo T
Loved this event.. Good warm up, local radio kept the entertainment in full swing. Angela S
