Yorkshire Black Diamond Sportive

The route is based on the town boundary of Barnsley, South Yorkshire taking in both the rich mining heritage of the area and the spectacular hills and views that surround the town. The Yorkshire Black Diamond Sportive is an 80 mile (129Km) challenging route (3/5) that is back loaded with hills and stunning views, with an elevation gain of circa 2000m. It’s not a race, you can get as ‘smashy’ (or not) as you choose. Barnsley Road Club look forward to welcoming you on the day, and sharing a complimentary beer and some quality conversation after your pedals have stopped turning.
