Event overview
Fantastic atmosphere guaranteed!
The Odyssey Aquabike is an epic challenge to complete a swim in the meandering River Ouse followed by a cycle around the scenic Cambridgeshire countryside. Along the way, you will overcome both physical and psychological challenges that you have never previously experienced, and once completed, you will stand tall in the knowledge that you have completed your own personal Odyssey.
The Odyssey course is the ultimate in spectator-athlete interaction with multiple opportunities to cheer on the athletes in each of the three disciplines, including the ‘tent of enlightenment’ that the runners will pass through on each lap of the run.

The Odyssey is the next big thing to hit the irondistance stage. Super appreciated the atmosphere created by the ATW team, super friendly and welcoming. Would strongly recommend this event to new and seasoned iron athletes. Lewis S

Loved the Odyssey. Great atmosphere throughout. Loved the bike route which involved 2 laps with out and back sections allowing you to see how you were doing against others. Would recommend! Lem L
Brilliantly organised event. Marshals we’re fab and the run course was lovely and scenic but most importantly flat 😊 The party tent also a great idea and really gave me thay much needed boost when running through it each lap. Danielle H
Fantastically organised and very supportive staff and crew, excellent event. Dan P
I've been competing in triathlons/Duathlon/aqua bike since 1987 and this event is up with the best. From easy parking at 8.30 am to going home at 10.30pm. Superb organisation to fantastic, friendly staff and the goody bag is worth coming back for next year. My two sons and I loved competing and my wife supported us for 14hrs and loved it. Well done ATW. Ron W
Absolutely loved this event! So easy to book and the pre race info was great. It was a really nice route and everyone was so incredibly supportive. Massive shout out to the organisers and marshals ❤️ you were fantastic and really helped me keep pushing myself. Looking through all the photos today has been emotional, fantastic memories & new friends made. See you all soon. Emma M
