Event overview
You'll cross over to the A5 in Conwy county, before climbing up to the sprawling Clocaenog Forest. You'll soon hit the shores of Llyn Brenig for the flat and scenic 'run' in to the picturesque finish on the dam. Participants will need to navigate using the existing Brenig Way waymarkers, a GPX file provided, and an event map.
Runners can expect a great mixture of terrain, from country lanes to technical climbs and descents, grassy riverside paths and forest tracks where you can really stretch your legs!
There shall be 2 start times, based on your estimated finish time for the event. Those taking 8-10 hours shall begin their Brenig Way journey at 7am, whilst those who plan to be quicker than 8 hours shall start at 8am.
There shall be 3 checkpoints where you can access refreshments along the way.
