Event overview

A 10 mile mixed terrain course through Parc Penallta, starting and finishing at Penallta House, Tredomen Park. The course is undulating with one uphill/downhill section taking you up to Sultan the Pit Pony sculpture. The race originally started and finished at Pontypridd R. F. C.’s Sardis Road ground. Due to a mix up with marshals the runners went the wrong way and run the course in reverse. So from then on the Reverse 10 was born. In keeping with tradition the races mile markers count down from 9 to 1 and not up.
