Event overview

The race is held on the rolling country lanes of Bedmond in St Albans, Hertfordshire. It’s ideal for those looking to kick start their spring marathon training or make the step up from 10k. The course starts and a finishes on the green opposite Waitrose on King Harry Lane, St Albans. This is a short walk from the race HQ at St Columba's College. The route is on paved footpaths and undulating country lanes with several challenging hills. The route is open to vehicle traffic and headphones will not be permitted. Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to the top placed male and female finishers. There are also trophies for vets age group winners. The race also hosts the Hertfordshire County Championships event. The top three eligible runners and teams will be awarded after the open race awards. To be eligible to be included you must either have been born in Hertfordshire or have been a resident in Hertfordshire for at least the last 9 months. You cannot enter the County Championships of more than one county in a calendar year. You must declare you are eligible as part of the registration process.
