A multisport event in Kent. A weekend of events featuring triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, aquathlon, swim and run races for all ages and abilities.
The Hever Castle estate has a wealth of history; most recognisably the home of two of Henry VIII's six wives. It was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and one of the homes Anne of Cleaves was given after her divorce.
Throughout the weekend, athletes and spectators will be able to enjoy the award-winning gardens and a fun-packed festival village featuring live music, shopping, food and drink, children’s entertainment, yoga and more.
This event is part of Hever Castle Triathlon and Multisport Festival.
Start times to be confirmed.
Anyone of any gender, age or ability is welcome and safe to take part in a race. First-timers and old-timers, the next generation and the elites, clubs and corporates, schools and seniors are welcome. The more the merrier.
Discounts and club event areas.
All sports clubs are welcome to take part in the events and group discounts are available, tailored waves for club championships, trading places scheme, as well as allocating you a place to pitch gazebos for a meeting spot in the event village.
The WPA School's Roadshow.
At this event there is a unique cross curriculum Schools Triathlon Roadshow for KS2 children to experience at Hever Castle. This includes a half-day of cultural learning and half-day of triathlon training.
Creating healthy teams.
There are opportunities for companies to experience the events together – a great way to build team morale and friendly competition. This can include group booking discounts, pre- and post-race refreshment from your own hospitality marquee, your own company wave, custom kit and more.
Racing for all.
This event has an ethos of accessibility and inclusivity and wants to be able to offer a race for everyone. Many inspirational paratriathletes have taken part in one of the Castle Triathlon Series races over the years including Paralympian Matthew Emmerson, the Band of Brothers and Band of Sisters – injured and wounded service men and women.
Compete or complete.
There are starter distances across all disciplines and a very supportive community of athletes and marshals to help you feel confident and comfortable completing your first race.
The next generation.
From jumping in a lake, cycling through the woods to running around a castle, there are unforgettable, accessible races for 9–16 year olds at amazing locations.
Races for champions.
Rising stars and athletes have raced in the Castle Race Series from the very beginning. Many of these triathlon events host qualifying and national championships races in partnership with the BTF, TI and FF Tri, and the obstacle race is now a OCR World Championship Qualifier.
Closing the gap.
Over the last few years female participation has been increased to 38% by adding a greater variety of distances, female-only waves, launching the virtual series and making strategic partnerships.
Race savings.
Discounts are offered on races to those who are serving or have served in the armed forces.
This event has partnered with TriWetsuitHire who are the quick, easy and affordable solution for making sure you have a high-performance technical wetsuit for your race. You will receive a 10% discount code in your booking email.

This is a great event to choose if you want a challenge! The swim is magical around the castle, the bike course is hilly, so be prepared for that. The run is mostly off road which I loved, but with the undulating course after the hilly bike, your legs need to be prepared for it. Marshals are great and very slick registration process. Samantha T
Lovely event, everything was very well organised and we got shuffled through registration and into transition to prepare without any dramas. Briefing was good and I liked the time trail start (first Olympic so the thought of a mass start was scary!) Ellen H
Great event, as my first one I didn't know what to expect but it was really well done, everyone was friendly and helpful. The Marshalls were especially good at cheering you on and helping you through. Looking forward to doing it again. Ian B
