The Hever Castle Multisport weekend event in Kent is set within the stunning and historical grounds.
The Hever Castle estate offers a wealth of history; most recognisably the home of two of Henry VIII 6 wives. It was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and one of the homes Anne of Cleaves was given after her divorce.
Throughout the weekend, athletes and spectators will be able to enjoy the award-winning gardens and a fun-packed festival village featuring live music, shopping, food and drink, children’s entertainment, yoga and more.
You can also race with a team of friends in one of the relay options!
The Hever Castle September hosts the biggest Junior triathlon with huge numbers of children enjoying the various race distances for 9 – 16 years olds.
This event been awarded the 2026 World Championship Standard Distance Triathlon Qualifier.
This event is part of Hever Castle Triathlon and Multisport Festival.

This is a great event to choose if you want a challenge! The swim is magical around the castle, the bike course is hilly, so be prepared for that. The run is mostly off road which I loved, but with the undulating course after the hilly bike, your legs need to be prepared for it. Marshals are great and very slick registration process. Samantha T
Lovely event, everything was very well organised and we got shuffled through registration and into transition to prepare without any dramas. Briefing was good and I liked the time trail start (first Olympic so the thought of a mass start was scary!) Ellen H
Great event, as my first one I didn't know what to expect but it was really well done, everyone was friendly and helpful. The Marshalls were especially good at cheering you on and helping you through. Looking forward to doing it again. Ian B
This was my first triathlon event and I felt very supported throughout. Everything was very clear and everyone was very helpful. The post-race free food was a really nice touch. Bethany Q
Bastion Ironman Triathlon at Hever Castle. wow what a venue and a course. Loggia setting for the swim is hard to beat. loads of thrilling long descents on the 'rewarding' (tough) bike (a climbers delight), loved it, an absolute classic. varied run is an easy trail, and road shoes fine as its hard packed in summer, unless wet. so many encouraging marshalls, few races can match this level of quality organisation and event, you get what you pay for, highly recommended. Anthony G
Loved the swim , it was clearly marked and easy to follow. The bike sure was hilly- but well marshalled and clearly signed. Weβd been advised to wear trail shoes for the run, and I was glad I did as it was almost all on trails, making it more interesting than many courses, but tough. Great atmosphere, wonderful to get a free massage and meal afterwards. Not a course for a PB, itβs a challenging, friendly and well run race. Catherine M
Best organised triathlon in the country. Easy access, not too big, very friendly, interesting course. Great for spectators. Highly recommend it. Simon K
Really nice race with great beginner friendly atmosphere. Hard hilly bike course and hilly trail run. Very diverse course never gets boring. Definitly my favourite race in UK as I have done it 10x. Highly recommended! Hannah K
An absolutely fantastic race, the team are incredibly friendly and supportive. Have done the course twice, once half distance and once full distances. Both times the organisation has been spot on, super clear before hand, well signposted and supported on the day and most importantly for me, incredibly family friendly and all in a totally gorgeous setting - Would heartily recommend to anyone.
