Hollybank Eccup 10 | 10 Mile

Abbey Runners are back this year in collaboration with with our charitable partner, Hollybank Trust. The course takes in rural closed roads and a scenic route around Eccup reservoir making this Leeds most popular 10 mile road race and a sell out most years. Abbey Runners will be making a donation to both Hollybank Trust and the club’s nominated 2024 charity Women’s Health Matters (a Leeds based charity that champions freedom for disadvantaged women and girls) from the race proceeds and you can also support either or both by making an additional donation with your entry. When you enter, you can also choose whether to receive a T-Shirt memento or have a tree planted on your behalf instead. Last year we raised over £800 to plant trees around Leeds. The Eccup Junior Races (school years 3-12) are run on a one mile loop around Bedquilts playing fields. The course is one lap for school years 3-6 and two laps for school years 7-12. The route is entirely on grass. Our Eccup juniors races, held in the beautiful Bedquilts Recreation Ground are very popular and help make it a great family morning out.
