Running around Grasmere Village and Water on paths and trails before riding around the roads towards Elterwater on the Sprint (Short) and Hawkshead & Coniston on the Standard. With the most beautiful transition location, this is one event you are sure to look to book each year. Sprint (Short) - 5km run, 20km cycle, 2.5km run. Standard - 10km run, 40km cycle, 5km run. Set alongside Grasmere Lake, Grasmere is shrouded by a panorama of fells and mountains. Grasmere is perhaps best known as the home of William Wordsworth, a place he once described as "The most loveliest spot that man hath found."
