The full address for the venue is Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, Mansfield NG21 9JL.
If you are using a SatNav for directions then please make sure it is taking you to the main center of the forest and not to an entrance on the south side of the forest.
Half price parking
There is ample parking available in the forest's car parking area which is located just a few minutes walk from the event village. Parking is charged at Β£12 for the day, but runners will receive a half-price discount code in the event booklet that will be emailed out to you prior to event day. You will need to pay for parking at a kiosk just before you leave.
Accessibility
Unfortunately, neither the half or full marathon routes are suitable for wheelchairs due to it taking part in a forest, through trails and firetracks. The event village is accessible during dry periods but please be aware that it is based on a large grassed area which can become muddy in bad weather.

It is best to pre-book a taxi to the start line. If you are staying overnight before the event and using public transport, look at places to stay in Edwinstone, Clipstone, or Ollerton.

Took part in Sherwood Pines run 12/05/2024 and marathon on 21/07/2024. Superb events. Well organized. Great Support Team both on the marshal check points and at event hq. Awesome experience. I will definitely take part in these events again and look forward to trying others from Rasselbock too. A solid five star event. Tony Mayall
Fantastic marathon around Sherwood Pines. Really well organised, loads of well stocked feed stations, marshals everywhere, no chance of getting lost as direction signs everywhere. Tough course but defo do it again and would run with Rasselbock without any second thoughts. Nigel Saxby
The Summer 2024 edition of The Rasselbock Run was my first Rasselbock event, and I absolutely loved it! The race was well-organised, the on-course directional signage was perfect and the proffered snacks were sumptuous! Especially the German Friendship Cake. OMG. And to top it all off, the good folk of Rasselbock and all the race marshals were such a lovely bunch of people. I can't fault the race at all and feel very fortunate to have these races pretty much on my doorstep. I'll be back for more, for sure. Thank you to all involved. Tim Vincent
