This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.

Grim Up North provide the best races for all running abilities. The organizers' are fantastic, helpful, funny, inspiring, welcoming and provide the best events in the best places. I love it. Thank you. Not only are they the best events going, but they cater for all ages and abilities. I will always be in the last 10 or 15 to finish, but the Grim Up North Team are as enthusiastic and lovely with the tail enders as they are with the elite and intermediate. As the better runners are on their way back and pass the other runners, they still give words of encouragement to keep the slower one's going. A great running community and a great organisation. Thank you to everyone for providing such high quality events - and most brilliant medals and burgers...awesome. regards. Jean C
